Frank ChristinoOwner and General Contractor
Frank’s passion for construction and woodworking began in his teenage years, and he knew he wanted to join the Carpentry Program at Kaynor Vocational Technical School. This program, along with his first job fabricating kitchen countertops, is what eventually led to the opening of Christino Kitchens & Remodeling in 2009.
After graduation, Frank immediately was hired as a carpenter. He framed houses during the warm seasons and built kitchen cabinets during the cold months. From “framer” he was promoted to the trim crew where he learned finish carpentry. This step opened the door to kitchen installation work, and Frank discovered his real love in the carpentry field. From here, he learned how to build and install fine custom cabinetry and set out as a subcontractor specializing in installation and remodeling for both kitchen and bathroom design. He did this for many design firms in the region, as well as for homeowners in Connecticut, Massachusetts to Cape Cod.
When Frank formed his own company in 2009, he knew he would eventually want a beautiful showroom with a team of designers. In 2011, that dream became a reality and he opened his first physical location on Hebron Avenue in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Since then, the company has completed many stunning design projects and gained a very happy, and repeat clientele.
Frank lives with his beloved wife Lana and their dog, Yoshi, in a custom-made home that he built with hand-crafted kitchen and bath cabinetry. And it wasn’t the first home he personally built, it was his second. This dedication and passion are in every project Christino Kitchen’s take on and it shows. See our projects
